Photography Lesson Plan

  • Individual work OR small group work in a group up to 4 people. You must actually teach this lesson. When working collaboratively on the lesson plan each person on the team must teach the collaboratively developed lesson and write and submit all reports outlined below.
  • To contain:
o Photography Lesson Plan that is technology infused. Use the LP provided by your instructor or one of your own as long as it addresses all of the categories (see example lesson and rubric). You are to teach a lesson to a small group of individuals related to photography (e.g., how to use a digital camera, how to compose a photograph).

o Student prepared instructional materials to accompany LP and submit them with your LP materials (e.g., word documents, PPTs, web sites, etc.).

o Student prepared Rubric to evaluate student learning

o Student prepared Pre-test to determine student entry level skills and knowledge.

o Student prepared Post-test to evaluate student learning (i.e., may be the same instrument as the pre-test).

o Analysis of the data from pre and post tests to summarize the learning that took place.

o Minimum of a ½ page summary on the impact of the LP on student learning.

o Minimum of a ½ summary of student’s perceptions on how the lesson went and revisions the student would make the next time he/she taught the lesson.
